Hi Davy. Your many comments in your fine youtube videos are a very
informative and inspiring and entertaining for me and my art students in
my portrait classes in Copenhagen. Thanks a lot. Best wishes. Martin

Great work indeed. What Pastels (brand) do you prefer and what paper? Thx.
I liked the details
you've got to be kidding me...factoring in noise, crowds, camera, talking
AND drawing all at the same time and still he gets this much done in 40
minutes (and accurately, too!), please tell me this guy is abnormally good
even for the Tertre... :) even if one does that every day this is
exceptional, i haven't seen all the videos yet but who and how can this be
possibly beat?
very good, how much did it cost the sitter.
Phenomenal work! Bravo!
grande artista, muito bom gostei muito continue postando mais videos,
parabens excelente trabalho um abraço

He is excellent ! George Wu, AIA 2012-7-25
@shysterlicious Hi Tom! Thank you for all the encouraging feedback!
@foreverhoads A light application of spray fixative is a good idea for full
colour pastel drawings like this one.Allways frame your work with a passe
partout so the glass does not touch the surface of the drawing.
wow! 40mins?? Serious.. takes me a day and a half to make one pastel
portrait!..I'm so impressed!
very beautiful
@goonthemicra The sitter made a 100 euro contribution toward the
construction of a village well in Cambodia.
Yes,Meshroun...The model is yours truly,Yvadmil. The camera'man' was my son
Ernest, who was 11 years old when he filmed this!
You're absolutely right. Buying the best bicycles in the world, for
example, does not guarantee a win in the Tour de France. Having said that,
quality materials/ supplies does make a difference in competent and
talented hands. The talent and the competence have to be there first in
order for the materials to have a measurable difference from lesser quality
supplies.
what about subtitles?
Brilliant work, fantastic viewing, well done!
really it is mindblowing
@shysterlicious Yes..the model is Davy or 'yvad' as in yvadmil.I have posed
for Teng a couple of times. On this occaision I wired him up with a mic. and
my son did the filming.
