Tourism has done the same thing to Paris that it has done to
Venice,,,,,,,,,,, Venice Italy that is. Gone !
must be weird for the locals having tourists around you every day of the
year
you know how to tell a story, thanks.
I visited Paris in May of this year for the first time. Your videos were
just so helpful. I was at Montmartre on a Sunday morning and spent the
most of the day wandering around enjoying everything.
See my comments of the other video.------- I said 3 hours-- That included
others of your video work. Thank you !
I was just in Paris and stayed in this area. Lively, raunchy and fun yet
still classic French was my experience, loved it. I must return to see more
of this beautiful city and country.
I was there in the early 60's when I was 7 to 11 years of age. Just like I
remembered. The artists, the cobblestone, the Basilica, the tram. So nice
to see. Just a boy. Perhaps all I remember is because I was just a boy .
. . and troubles were far, far away. Sure nice to see. The Basilica is my
next stop on YouTube. A favorite memory . . . and the Flea Market (as you
look at the front) off to the right and behind.
gracias, muy bien explicado, con muy buen ritmo, no es aburrido, y muestra
lugares interesantes y bonitos
Lots of Smiles on people's faces ;-)
Excellet, excellent video. I visit Paris every year and never miss this
area.
Estive na Rue Saint'Rustique! Tudo é lindo em Montmartre! Tudo é lindo em
Paris!!!
Montmartre and Pigalle, Paris, France
Pigale a French treat !
Excellent video. Thank you from someone who knows Paris pretty well.
Great job! Background make one feel that he is there.
Camera work is steady and Excellent!
These are wonderful
Loved all 15:10 of it. Thanks for posting!
Bellisimo!!!I want to go back.
ein langweilig Doku video mit Stativ. manchmal wunderschön!
pięknie!
I stayed in an apt. on Rue Custine October 6-12th. The chestnut trees were
in season...beautiful! See a lot of familiar streets and sights here,
thank you. Would really love a nutella crepe and a cafe right now.
I like that you're not putting any personal spin on your videos, what I
like about your videos is how I personally feel while watching those
videos, without any input from anyone, thank you for sharing.
Don't they need two toillettes there..plenty of space..not sure why folks
need to wait....several places for toilettes and the other urinals.
Good job with this video. Many years ago I went to Place du Tertre in
search of an artist to do a charcoal drawing of a photo of my wife and our
dog. After walking around (the artists were out in force that day), I
found one and we settled on a price. He told me to go have some coffee and
he then went to work. The finished product was brilliant, and resulted in
some major brownie points for my wife's husband (that would be moi).
This video can be a lot shorter to tell the same story?

The thing that amazes me the most is the silence of the crowded streets.

@parkinnick Thanks for the compliments. Sorry about the delay, I only just
saw your comments on the list. The art store is aptly named L'Artiste, and
it's at number 18, rue Saint Rustique.
Lovely pacing and great footage. I like the way you've captured the
ordinary and have allowed the viewer to get a sense the atmosphere in the
different locations. Such a refreshing change from the violent and
obtrusive tv/"movie" mentality. Thanks for this upload, it was a pleasure
to watch.
What time of year was this video taken? It looks like a colder month.....we
are going in mid March. What will the weather be like?
The streets are so dirty.
Another very charming video from your series.
Amazing film. I love Paris, thanks
Why do you think that is? What accounts for the cultural differences? I
have noticed this too since I am a professor and I have had European
students. You definitely see that they are more fashion conscious than
Americans.
Boring !!
So how did you like Paris? I think it is overrated. I would much rather be
in Kiev, Odessa, Prague, Warsaw or Saint Petersburg. Eastern Europe is
better than Western Europe.
A lot of french people begin to smoke when they are young,so I don't think
it's for kill their appetite!
I'm going on a class trip to Paris, and will be staying in Montmartre
temporarily. Your video explains a lot and is really helpful. Thanks.
My mom bought a beautiful copper cooking pan in a Paris market in 1961. It
was too heavy to carry, so the dealer agreed, for another small fee, to
mail it to her. She's still waiting for the delivery.
kiskia...c est quoi le probleme alors...???
I WANNA GO BACK TO EUROPE!
Thank you so much for taking me back to my favourite city . A truely
wonderful experience .
@utoobasimo Thanks for the feedback. I actually do try to record the
location and shooting date for each video, if the video was shot in one
location on one day, or at least I give an approximate date and location.
But YouTube doesn't normally show that information; you have to look at the
statistics and then scroll down to see the date, and even then the location
doesn't always show. I don't know why YouTube hides it. This video is
exactly one year old, shot on March 7, 2011.
Nice video. You can find many other HD videos on toutparisenvideo(dot)com
