• Does anyone know about a movie made here. I have no memory of the name of the movie, but it was about three people slowly climbing to the top discussing the meaning of life. It was so so interesting. I taped it on a vcr and gave it to my son many years ago. He is going to try to look for it for me. He has moved many times since then. I might never get it.

• Fortunately we each have our own preferences, otherwise we'd all be in the same place at the same time, a bit crowded. Mont Saint Michel can be very special for a short visit, an hour or a full day. And it is popular, many love it, gets crowded in the season, but we were there in winter, cold, foggy, romantic, and empty.

• The Mont is in NORMANDY not France! Enough of this French propaganda trying to steal our Norman monuments. We Normans conquered England, Wales, Ireland, Southern Italy, Sicily (Were we expulsed the Arabs who ruled it for 200 year), Antioch in the middle east and even parts of Northern Africa from Tunis to Tripoli....... We Normans have had enough of people trying to eliminate our culture, language, history and identity.

• I loved visiting this place in 1978. Looks the same! :P While I would not refer to it as 'magical' I would refer to it as extraordinary and a great place to visit. It would be a fun place to see again.
